The first ever Portuguese niche perfume Forum took place last weekend in Lisbon, at Pestana Palace. Yes, history was undoubtedly made. The Forum, named "The Perfume Sessions", was organized by BMA - Baptista, Monteverde & Associados and Embassy Niche Perfumery. We were extremely honored to welcome as guest speakers some of the most important Portuguese and Spanish perfumers and creative directors: Lourenço de Lucena, Cláudia Camacho, Pedro Simões Dias and Ramón Monegal. BMA's partner, Paulo Monteverde, moderated the first panel and Ricardo Claudino the second panel. The debate among the 58 attendees was very interesting, while a request for broader legal protection for perfume creations could be heard.
