Filipe Baptista

Filipe is a partner at BMA.


He finished his Law Degree from the Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa in 1995 and subsequently completed a post graduation degree in Intellectual Property at the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa.

Subsequently Filipe joined the Portuguese Bar Association.

He has been representing parties in litigation and providing advice in legal matters such as patents, trademarks, designs, copyright, anti-counterfeiting, pharmaceutical law, advertising and database protection.

Filipe has been formerly the Vice-President of the Portuguese Consultants IP Association (ACPI).

He is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), ECTA, FICPI, AIPPI and Union.

Currently, Filipe is strongly involved in the design subcommittee of INTA and of the design committee of ECTA.

Filipe has been a speaker at the Portuguese Bar Association and in international conferences and seminars.
