Joana Fortunato

Joana is an associate at BMA.


She finished her law degree at the Faculdade de Direito of Universidade de Lisboa in 2009.

In 2013 she completed a post-graduate degree in Business Law at the Faculdade de Direito of Universidade de Lisboa in cooperation with Deloitte & Associados, SROC S.A.

She has been admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association since 2013.

Joana did her law traineeship at BMA, where she collaborated as an associate lawyer between 2013 and may 2017. From june 2017 to may 2021 she collaborated with SLCM - Serra Lopes, Cortes Martins & Associados, SP, RL as an associate lawyer.

She has been actively involved in lawsuits, representing national and international clients, providing permanent consultancy on civil and commercial law.

Joana has written articles in the area of civil law, with a special focus on Urban Lease.
