She earned her law degree from Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa in 2009. With over 15 years of experience in industrial property, Madalena specializes in IP strategic planning, trademark registration, prosecution, and enforcement. She advises and represents clients in matters related to trademarks, copyrights, and designs. Additionally, she manages and maintains industrial property portfolios for national and international clients, resolving conflicts, mediating agreements, and providing legal counsel on various IP issues.
For the past 15 years, she has collaborated with RCF - Protecting Innovation, S.A..
In 2015, she completed her postgraduate studies in Intellectual Property Rights, organized by the Portuguese Intellectual Law Association at the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa.
Since 2022, she has been an Official Industrial Property Agent and an EUIPO Professional Representative.
She attended the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) 's DL-101 General Course on Intellectual Property in 2009.
Madalena is also a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), as well as ACPI and APDI.
