He finished his Law Degree from the Universidade de Lisboa in 2003 and he joined the Portuguese Bar Association in 2006.

Ricardo developed his activity as a lawyer at the Law Firm ‘MFMJ & Associados - Sociedade de Advogados, SP, R.L.’, since 2019, at the Law Firm ‘Anselmo Vaz, Afra & Associados’, in 2017 and 2018 and also as a sole practitioner with his own firm between 2006 and 2016.

With strong expertise in litigation and arbitration in intellectual property, particularly in patent matters focusing on the pharmaceutical field, Ricardo is also active in corporate, civil, labour and administrative law.
